It shows we can interest some free agents. It sounds like Love enjoyed his visit to Boston.

I guess almost doesn't really count, except in darts.

Though I'm not what I would call unbiased.

I kinda hate Love.

He is a loser.

He loses.

His defense might have something to do with this.

As does the fact that he carried 100% of the offensive and rebounding loads for those Sota teams.

Let alone calling him a "super-star" or *shudders* "MVP candidate," the guy still hasn't proven that he made the Cavs better.

In fact, the Cavs looked at their best after Love went down in the playoffs (despite struggling and needing every last minute to beat the Celtics in 4 out of 7 games).



I couldn't be more happy that Love didn't come here.

We would be exactly where the Wolves were a couple years ago.

He's the type of player you target once you already have [2 MVP candidates and] a championship-worthy team.

And even then, there's evidence he makes those types of teams worse.

No evidence he makes those teams better.

What could he possibly bring to a rebuilding team?

No not really. I have to largely agree with mgent. I thought Love would be good for the C's but now I agree we would have been in the same boat at Minny was with him: A decent all-star NOT an elite superstar, and a bunch of role players, that's not a recipe for a championship team.

Now the Cavs stood to benefit more because they already had their #1 and #2 in Lebron and Kyrie. However, it didn't seem to work out. But that said, I actually give some blame to the coach in the way he used Love.  He took the best offensive rebounder in the league and had him camp out on the 3-point line.  This never made sense to me.

In any case, I'm fine without Love, much prefer the building process going on now.

If you can get Love for literally nothing but cap space, then you should do it....

Worst case you figure out Love can't compete well enough in a CBS system catered to him, then you either find another team willing to try to take a shot at him, and there will be plenty of teams willing to. Best of all, if you sign Love for absolutely nothing but cap space, you don't lose any assets at all.

Love didn't come here. Oh well, move on though. No point in rehashing an article that's been out for a while now.

We can discuss all we want, but ultimately Love made his choice; and a resounding one at that.
