Thus far Rozier has not only never played in a real NBA game, he hasn't even played in an NBA preseason game against even a fairly good NBA team. So let's pump the brakes on these proclamations.
What's the point of after-the-fact proclamations? The time to make them is before they've been proven true.
Fair enough generally speaking.
But I'm arguing that there's not enough evidence to make any sort of proclamation. Thus, I'd say if the OP ends up being right, he's more lucky than anything else.
There's just been so many players over the years that have looked good in the summer league, preseason, and even at times at the beginning of the season, and then just flamed out. And given that the OP's proclamation is that Rozier is "too good not to play" and not that "he will be a good player some day," it seems like way too much of an overstatement based on way too little evidence.
