I think the next 6 teams are better on paper than the celtics
heat cavs hawks bulls wizzards bucks

For the next 2 playoff spots there will be a fight between

Raptors charlotte pacers celtics nets pistons and magic. I think knicks and sixers are lottery bound...

We all saw that injuries were a real factor last year for the playoff race... so anything can happen... and we have more options than pacers or the pistons for example.. but no star power.. no paul george no brook lopez.. it will not be easy. we could be better than last year but still a lottery team.. hopefully a trade will give us an advantage. Our greatest needs, rim protector and a scorer still not bought

Injuries happen every year, and we have the depth to have a "next man up" philosophy when they do, more than the other teams.

I see us competing for a top 5-6 seed, personally. We finished last season very strong.

Other then 3pt. shooting , I believe one of our biggest downfalls was rebounding. Amir Johnson and David Lee ain't not game saviors but I'm pretty sure they'll be difference makers. The rest of our team is still in tact. Lots of bodies, and a full season to gain chemistry. I like our odds.  :)

I wouldn't say the playoffs are far away, though I agree that they aren't by any means a given and we certainly wouldn't be a playoff team in the West.

No surprise another fickle fan who thinks automatically that we are not as good when we had a winning record to end the season and improved the team. This team will be in the playoffs next season in 4-7 range and we will be going to at the very least the 2nd round.

  • Celtic's only raise championship Banners
We have no all stars on this team. Almost All the other teams listed have at least one all star and are much more likely to get better players than us because of that. Face it.....If this team makes the playoffs(which IMO it won't) then we are on the treadmill.

Don't you remember draft night? Your 4 game sweep cost us Myles Turner......."But it was fun!". IDC.

I mean there is a real problem when FA's pick the Milwaukee Bucks over us because they are better and have a brighter future...as of now.

The Celtics do not hang Banners for 2nd round appearances. Id rather miss the playoffs and have players with Smarts potential at more positions....Because only championships matter
