made my favorite play  a runner off the backboard-smooth, reminded me of prince-young has his work cut out
hunter has that court awareness you can't teach-he got that guy in the air and drew the foul just what he wanted, another simple play penetrated and hit the guy in the corner for a three-he knew what was happening before he entered the paint-i also like how he varies the pace on his passes

We called it court awareness or basketball IQ...it's a kind of player who usually stay longer in the NBA. Just make a simple play and not overdo things. Am also starting to like his game in a few sample games!

RJ Hunter is that dude right now.   8)

I was high on him before the draft, but I'm even higher on him now.  Also he's much better defender than I thought he would be, but I'm sure most scouts are as he mostly played a zone in college.

Smooth stroke, high iq, can handle the ball well and play-make for others.  Can't be mad at that.

Reminds me of Prince as well.
I thought he was just a shooter, but he's a basketball player. He does a lot of different things well.

RJ has the "it" factor and you can see it in his game. And he doesn't have to be hitting his shot to contribute as he can do so in many ways.  C's are very fortunate he slipped to 28 (after being projected in the mid-teens by most and as high as 10). He was Sunbelt POY as a soph. despite Elfrid Peyton (same conference) being a lottery pick.  I believe that by the end of the first 20 games he will have worked himself into the rotation in Steven's "positionless" system.

If he sees anytime in the D league, it will be only to rehab an injury...

He's obsessed with basketball... The sport.  Wants to know everything about it.  Watches film.  Cannot say enough good about him. He may have a big breakout game in the tourney.
