Probably not, but he's worth more to the Clippers than to other teams -- and his dad is obviously a bit biased.

I'd say so, he has played well for them. Also they are over the cap, can only sign Bird'd players

It's not unreasonable for a team with no other options due to the incompetence of its GM.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I don't get why some of you guys have so much of a grudge against Doc like any move he makes is dumb and shows that he's incompetent in your eyes.

This was a easy call for him to do this is my opinion his team has no backup PG and are over the cap so he resigned a player that showed promise last year.

His bench is pretty nice right now so i'm giving him some credit

Rivers, Crawford, Stephenson, Johnson

They just need a backup center sooooo yeahhh....  ::)

My comment was not based on anti-Doc prejudice. I have no problem with him or the Clippers. I don't think he's a bad coach. I DO think that he's an utterly incompetent GM who has gotten his team into a precarious cap situation through several extremely poor managerial moves.

Edit: I also have no problem with resigning Austin. He's a perfectly serviceable backup and losing him would've made the team worse without providing any alternative solution.
