How long will it take Steve Ballmer to figure he needs his own people and that Rivers' sold the old ownership a bill of goods?

The whole De'Andre Jordan saga should be titled 'Rivers goes-a-begging'.

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
If Jordan goes back there, I would have to think it is just the opposite.

Chris Paul is probably more to blame than Glenn "doc" rivers.
Not sure I've heard him referred to as Glenn since his Marquette days

DeAndre Jordan means almost everything to that team, the President/GM/HC of the franchise should have known that and acted accordingly. His malfeasance is what put the future of the Clippers hanging in the balance. Regardless of what happens still an epic blunder on Glenn's part.

Clippers will be well served to get a real GM.

It's a sign of disrespect.  Same as some people like to call Tiger Woods "Eldred."

Docs on the hot seat for a big contract extension if he pulls DJ back in, the Mavs told him he was Shaq and he momentarily bought it.

Eldred is disrespectful because it isn't his name.

Jordan leaving is probably the best way for Doc to get a few more years in charge.

If Jordan leaves, it becomes the excuse for every other bad decision GM Doc has made.  Jordan goes back and they have to win starting Pierce at SF and a bench where Jordan Crwaford  has to play with a ball-dominant headcase who just alienated his last two teams.

Doc is safe. He's too big of a part of that organization. During the Donal Sterling turmoil, he basically became the face of that franchise is a big way. Even if Jordan follows through and leaves for Dallas, Doc is safe until he wants to go or screws up in a big, visible way. If Jordan returns, Doc is as safe as ever.
