Crowder 80%
Jerebko 65%
Bass 50%

Biggest factor will be if the C's can land a big fish than there chances drop more.

I would think Crowder is very highly likely to return. Even if someone gives him the full MLE (which I doubt but it's certainly possible), the C's would match it. Crowder is the prototypical Celtic, he's a gritty, hard-working defense first kinda guy who was coached very well and is one of our most important leaders.

Jerebko is certainly a possibility to return, he's a real hustler with a jump shot who can play the 4 and the 5. I think it's just all about what we do from here on out. It's hard to really say with these guys, especially Bass, Jerebko and Gigi because this log-jam in the back court needs to be cleared up and our plays for FA's need to be resolved before it's clear who's gonna stay and who's gonna go.

I personally think that AB, Sullinger/Olynyk and maybe one of our drafted guards our gonna be on the way out. And if that happens, I would certainly want Jerebko back. Of course, who knows what we trade those guys for?

My biggest complaint about draft night wasn't the players themselves that we picked, I actually like them, but it's that the direction this team is going right now is cloudier than ever before. The trades last year brought a little more balance to our roster, but now it's considerably less so.

I like all 3 in the order above. Bass is really a good veteran player that teams should want if they are a contender. Hopefully a S & T for him to a good situation. He will be missed in Boston.

Bass 10%
Jerekbo 20%
Crowder 25%

Team needs to spend their cap on a stars. There is more than enough role players on this team right now.

This is why we should have waived the after the deadline. By not waiving these players(and Gigi) we ended up barely making the playoffs....and for what, so Crowder and Jonas can make more $ somewhere else? What a joke.

I think if Ainge could do it again he would have waived them all after the deadline.

These are guys who are going to have to wait for the big fish to eat, then pick up the scraps.  If no big fish come to the Boston pond we might get one or two back for low money and maybe non guaranteed second years or team friendly deals.

If nobody big signs  here, what is the point of bringing in vets?

They're apparently going to move quickly to try to lock up Crowder so unless he prices himself out of here, I think he's back on a long term deal.  If you're in the East and plan on contending you need someone to guard LeBron.  He's the best candidate and brings the necessary grit and toughness needed to have a good defensive team.

Hopefully once he gets paid he'll continue to bring the same commitment he brought last season.

Unless someone is going to offer Crowder starter's money, he's definitely coming back to Boston.

For Jerebko and Bass, there's no way both of them are coming back if Mickey can play at all.  Sully, KO and Zeller are already slotted for major minutes next season and if Ainge lands even a mediocre FA big, I can't see how there's any room for either Bass or Jerebko on the roster.

If Mickey can play even a bit he's absolutely here because they only have to pay him half a million. Personally I like Jerebko a lot as a rotation player.   I like his hustle, athleticism and ability to step outside and hit the occasional 3.  But it sounds like a lot is going to depend on who else they bring in through either trade or free agency.

You don't understand how Crowder only costs an extra $600k against the cap right now, and they can go over the cap to sign him.  That's why he's highly likely to stay.

Yeah I have a feeling DA will do a S&T with Bass like he did with Humps. Get him in a good playoff contending situation. I love Bass, but Jerebko is younger and cheaper, and spreads the floor out a bit more.

I don't understand why anyone would do a sign and trade for Bass at this point. No one would take him for the past two seasons -- even when we were literally trying to give him away for a trade exception. Why would anyone give up something to get him now that he's a free agent?

Agreed. I think the biggest consideration to whether he stays or not is his salary next season. But it's also highly dependent on what we do this Summer, and maybe not even then.

Say we grab 2 max players? Well you'll bring back Crowder because it's time to compete.

We don't manage anything? Well, you'll bring back Crowder because next year we'll have a crap ton of cap space to use anyways.

I can still envision a moment when his salary is too high for us to keep him in good judgement, but I think the chances of that happening vs. other scenarios is a bit on the unlikely side.

But we'll see.

JJ ........25% ...... Maybe more .   .....I like him and Zeller in at the same time ...they are nimble and good, offensive threat.  Hope he sticks

Jae .......99%     They offer him a nice contract .....no playoffs without his and Princes hard work on court.....I think he appreciates BEING appreciated...use Bass old salary to create him a contract .....Jae is becoming the cool head and glue during games ......he seems to be natural leader.  We need guys like this .
