Monroe would likely be our center, but Sully's game is to similar to Monroe and is not as efficient or big as Monroe . I think our D would really struggle guarding the pick and roll with both of them playing . Though Olynyk isn't a good defender either , he would at least compliment Monroe on the offensive end .

Maybe Package him with Bradley and try to get a wing like Tobias Harris . I think Rozier could replace Bradley's production by year 2 or 3  .

Thoughts?

I hope not. I think those two would work great together. Move Olynyk.

I think they can coexist, but it might be better to have Sully coming off the bench rather than start next to Monroe.

I'm hoping that with Sully losing weight, it helps his perimeter oriented game. I got the feeling that he didn't shoot as well as he could have because he was often tired. Losing weight will also help him drive closeouts and get to the hoop.

That being said, if we get a good offer for Sully I would deal him in a heartbeat. I don't trust him to stay in shape after his next contract, so I don't want the C's to be the one to sign him to said contract.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Possible, we could package Sully in a S&T for Monroe or another FA.

I think there's a perception around here about Sully's poor shooting because of the lack of success with the 3-point shot.

He's pretty good from just inside the 3-point line though, particularly from the right elbow and from the top of the key. He's actually better than Olynyk from outside the paint, but inside the 3-point arc.

Still needs to improve on that area, but I think if you got him to concentrate on those areas he'll be deadly.

I'm still a fan of Sully extending his range to the 3-point line. Disappointed it wasn't more accurate last year, we'll see how it goes.

Oh, and Sully + Monroe rebounding will be awesome to have.

Same here. I think Sully and Monroe would be our best big man pairing.

I think they complement one another nicely. Both guys can go high-low. Monroe not a jump-shooting threat but a very effective passer from the high post and elbows. Monroe an interior scorer + face up and drive threat. Sully a solid interior scorer, a very good but woefully underutilized midrange scorer and somewhat effective out on the perimeter. Sully is a good passer as well ... giving Boston two bigs comfortable on the ball inside and out.

I agree with this

I would start Olynyk next to Monroe. Spread the floor a bit. Monroe plays the center, post plays and Olynyk is used to spread the floor.

Sully comes off the bench and gives us his usual 20ish minutes. This might be good for Sully's back and other issues he's been having last season.
