It's draft talk. However, during the first part, around the 6 minute mark or so, they talk about the players Ainge looks for, how last year came down to Smart and Randle for #6 and why they chose the latter, and why Hezonja is a Ainge type pick this season.

Still to early to say whether Ainge made the right choice by taking Smart.   If the intention was to trade the asset... yes... since Smart right now is more valuable than Randle.  A year from now, I dunno.

I hope so. Hezonja is really starting to to grow on me. From what I've seen I like him a lot more than porzingis If we're trading up. Winslow or Cauley stein would be nice too

Also, Lowe and Ford both heard said that they heard through sources that the rumored Smart to Philly trade was never offered and Smart is not on the table.

Interesting to hear Ford say he had heard rumblings about Noel not be such a good personality / character guy in the locker. Never heard that before. I wish Ford expanded on that and gave some details.

Heard this too. Hopeful it's true, love me some smahht. The way i see it, if Russell at 3rd; Smart would have no problem locking him down and Russell has no athleticism to stop a bulldozing Smart

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
Listened to this last night.

Another important bit is when Ford talks about WCS later relaying how his sources said that he could slip in the draft due to ankle problems. Although WCS won't be effected long term he probably will have to have surgery that will keep him our 4-6 months in the next year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Ainge absolutely made the right choice in choosing Smart.  He's a total stud of a player and pick.
We'll have to disagree on when to call Smart a great pick.  I call it now.
