So this would hinge on Jimmy signing here, if he does we move Avery and 28 to the heat and take back birdman or whatever contract they want.
In the meantime we draft 2 of the most versatile players in the 2015 draft both tremendously versatile defenders who can both shoot with range. I think Looney will be similar to Draymond Green in that you may not get a great scorer but he will impact the game in so many ways. And Stanley is 240 pounds of muscle at 19.
Jimmy buckets is exactly what this team needs, an alpha dog who can handle, pass, shoot and play D. We still could get a real big guy at 33, Mickey or Upshaw. With Looney's ability to defend the pick and roll and guard multiple positions as well as being awesome on the glass a core of,

Smart, Butler, Stanley, Looney would be tremendous defensively and everyone can shoot threes although no sharp shooters.
Add to that Sully, Zeller, Thomas, Young, Kelly, and a shot blocker and that's a good young team and we would be in good shape for the 2016  free agent class with Wallace off the books.

I mean we arent getting Jimmy Butler as far as I can tell, but if he signs here then this is fine.

Someone tell Isaiah to recruit Jimmy what a fantastic guard rotation that would be Smart, Thomas and Butler, throw in the shooting of Young and it's over, 3rd seed next year.

This is one of the better ideas I've heard.  Not sure how realistic it will be to sign Butler, but seems like a good fit, and a big upgrade over AB at the 2.  I'm high on Looney as well.  Johnson hasn't impressed me that much, but if you can get him at 10, probably good value.

Why AB always gets traded. BTW its borderline impossible for Boston to sign him, Chicago will match any offer.

It's not really about butler wanting to come here or not. Chicago can match any offer he gets. They've basically publicly stated they will do just that.

Where do you get that from the starters would be Zeller, Sully, Evan Turner. Butler and Smart.

So the same team as last year with the exception of Butler?

Not good enough.

Sully, Zeller and Turner need to go or at the very least, move them to the bench.

I don't think you get Butler unless you entice him with another significant addition.

Bulls match any offer butler gets as he is their best player right now
Don't like looney
Like Stanley Johnson but doubt heat would accept only 28 and avery
Also if Stanley Johnson is there for the heat then they take him as they need a swingman
