Mark Jackson held the team back with his stupid obsession with pounding the ball inside and posting up.

How brutal is that... He had to sit there as the commentator while his team won a title with Steve Kerr.

And as the worst bloody commentator ever, to boot. Mute button central.

To the OP... welcome to Celtics Blog, Mark Jackson's agent.
And now the reality - here's the guy that helped build this team since 2011: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Myers

That small ball adjustment that the Dubs did that pretty much won the series, that won't be done with Mark Jackson.

He did set the culture, but Kerr took it to another level. He should have been the guy bathing in champagne if he wasn't a jerk to his staff.
That was an area where Jackson actually did lay the foundation - he did it for extended stretches against the clips last year (and I'm pretty sure he was mocked for it).

Jackson deserves praise for the development of Draymond Green.  Not every coach would have played a young guy, and put as much trust in Green as Jackson did.  Without Green playing at a DPOY level, the Warriors may not win this title.

Most of the other things I like about the current Warriors team seem to have been perfected under Kerr.  Inserting Harrison Barnes into the starting lineup at the expense of Iggy helped the team become better as a whole during the season.  Benching David Lee due to his defensive weaknesses was a gutsy but necessary call.

Thought he was excellent as a commentator, especially in this series. Did not pull punches, especially with Lebron.

And NO coaches in the NBA are difficult to get along with or are in any way ego maniacs, right??  Pitino was and is PURE CLASS and always treated EVERYONE with total and utter respect.  Just ask that little waitress that he spend some quality time on the restaurant floor with while married.  Pure class!!  Google that if that went over your head!!

P.S.  Mark Jackson WILL be a HEAD COACH again.  Mark it down.  It WILL happen!!!

Pitino is a bad coach too. Maybe if he cheated more he would have been a better one.
Bizarre, isn't it? He is using Pitino as an example to support the idea that Jackson will be back as an NBA coach.

I am NOT saying that Jackson is a better coach than Kerr.  But, Mark did more than double his team's wins in the second year.  He teams won 23, 47, and 51 games in his three years.  NOT many coaches can say that!!

Building a team and winning with it are two different things.  Just ask Doug Collins.

Can't say I didn't love that. Don't think they would have won it if Jackson was still there. Not fan of Jackson, but he was pretty classy when he said hats off to the players for getting it done and didn't try to take any of the credit.
