Zubi it is not about hurting people's feelings about him coming to Boston. I think if you polled people on here most would say there is like a 2% chance that he comes here next season, maybe less. You also act like this board is the only place in the world where people are discussing kevin love. Do you go comment on all articles by Zach Lowe, Broussard and Woj that have speculated on his future? Do you go all over the bleacher report and other sports nations sites making sure nobody thinks he could leave for a different team? Why does it bother you so much here? What is your intent on here?

The fact is it would be unusual, if not unprecedented for a team to lock in two players that play the same position in their early to mid twenties for max dollars for multiple years. Recently, when teams did invest a ton of money in a single position (like Phoenix at pg last year) it hasn't worked out.

Some people are going to discuss that. I don't even have a super strong position. I would be a bit surprised if they both signed max multi year extensions, but some other posters have swayed my opinion some with good counter examples.

However, your posts and bolding and enlarging at this point have become similar to a small child that puts his hands over his ears and stomps his feet and repeats the same words over and over again. I think everyone knows what your opinion is at this point and it doesn't seem like it is changing. If you don't care about either team, then what are you really doing at this point besides just making noise?

We have a better than 2% chance I hope. There is probably a 60-80% chance that Love stays or opts out and then resigns. But if he does go, we are probably one of only 4 or 5 teams he would consider. So, You got to give us at least a solid 3 or 4% chance!

There are a lot of good points in this thread, but I think it will all come down to what LBJ wants. He can play with the ESPN trade machine too and he has all the leverage over the Cle front office. But, simply losing Love would not allow the Cavs to then sign a max guy so it seems hard to get better without Love.

One can argue that the Cavs are a better team without him, chemistry wise.

I think we have a small chance at getting Love.  He'd be a great fit here.  From a basketball standpoint, he's ideal for the Stevens offense.  From a career standpoint, he could build a huge brand in Boston.   We'd need to surround him with the right talent, but this would be a great place for him.

I still think he's going to the Lakers.
