There is no Rose/Butler tension.

Just wondering...was it Rose or Butler who told you that??

Neither; common sense told me.

So we should believe your common sense over the various media reports that have covered this tension? Seems logical.

Please cite these "various media reports," because this all stems from a single dubious story from one guy.

Tension between the two would make more sense to me than not. There are a ton of variables at play, including the question of who is "the man." Butler puts the team on his back and makes significantly improvements during Rose's injury, and then Rose unexpectedly returns to near old-Rose for a few playoff games. If there was any kind of tension between the two before, this situation would likely exacerbate it.

This "whose team is it really?" stuff is largely a media-perpetuated narrative. Not every duo is Shaq-Kobe.

That's not a reliable source.

This. TP.
Long-form is far from dead, but please refrain from paragraph-laden posts! Who wants to read that?!

I trust my common sense a lot more than a vague reference to "tension" that turns out to be little more than an observation of seemingly-passive play by Rose, especially when the source is a sexist radio jock whom Bulls fans don't exactly hold in great regard. But, sure, there's proven "tension" because that one guy kinda implied as much.

[Edited.  Posts like this are specifically against our rules. Your profanity towards Mark Walbergh was totally uncalled for and tasteless. Please refrain from personal attacks on here.  -RH]

We can only hope that justice prevails and the NBA fine the Hollywood Actors Guild for player tampering
