I think best case realistic scenario is we grab Sam Dekker at 16 and Upshaw at 28

PG: Smart/IT
SG: Avery Bradley
SF: Sam Dekker
PF: Jared Sullinger
C: Robert Upshaw
That is a downright depressing scenario to me.  I have no interest in Dekker.  Taking Upshaw at #28 isn't bad but he is a big bust risk and he's not anywhere close to be a starting NBA center.  Bradley and Sully are the players at the top of my list for Ainge to trade.
I completely disagree with you on Upshaw. Not only is he ready to play Center in the NBA but if he is there at 16, we would be fools not to get him.

I do though agree about Dekker. Don't want him. There are plenty of small forwards in NEXT years draft. Hopefully we will have some good picks, surely don't see the nets getting better, even if Lopez is healthy.

WE ARE HAVING THE BEST CASE SCENARIO

1.This year we firmly established CBS as a top coach and maybe the best coach to play for, with a brilliant mind and cool temperament. People and players respect him. We could not have done that if  we completely tanked.

2. Now we draft Myles Turner . Myles Turner could end up being one of the best players out of this draft or even better than Towns and Okafor. The real ? with him is his hips and glut problems....which can be fixed. If that is fixed and he gets more athletic, well.....he already shoots 84% from the line and is a smart and good defender with length.

3. We draft Upshaw and he cuts back on the mary j. Maybe he has a real anxiety/depression problem and it gets fixed(Boston has good doctors). Upshaw's shot continues to improve and he  turns into what Hibbert should have been.

That is litterally the best case scenario. We get 2 top 5 picks essentially while solidifying our new coach as a genius and we classed up the NBA by not tanking.

+1. Although in my best case scenario, we also barely miss the playoffs and then win the lottery...

Thats what my best case is essentially. If Myles Turner and Upshaw turn out to be the best players in the draft, then we got 2 top picks essentially. We would need to trade Avery at the least, but with IT wanting to start, and James Young coming up; Avery could have played his best basketball with the Celtics.

I completely agree! I'd be thrilled with both Turner & Upshaw. Getting RHJ or Stanley Johnson on top of those 2 would be icing on the cake. We could then trade Zeller and/or KO or sully to get more pieces.
