I think Stevens is a new generation of coaching genius, yet his system doesn't seem to suit stars who want to be the first scoring option, we wasn't doing as good with Jeff Green as our leading scorer(even though he wasn't as good as we would of liked), or with Rondo having control of the plays.

I think this off-season will be interesting. Would Danny Ainge make surrounding Stevens' with the players that will fit his vision his priority?

All in all, I enjoy Stevens' brand of basketball, because only true basketball fans can appreciate it. It's starless, unselfish, fast-paced, and physical insanity with a stroke of genius when the game is on the line and he draws up the winning play.

You could say Isaiah Thomas is as much a talent as Jeff Green was he is averaging something like 19ppg and 6APG with the Celtics off the bench. Difference is he is bent on attacking the rim and being aggressive while Green mostly got his points being passive

I think Rondo had one foot out the door and wasn't motivated. Brad stevens system seems intent on ball movement while Rondo was about controlling the ball the whole play.

actually, I think he can do well with a star or two that can be consistent on the offense and be a good team player.

Sort of what the Spurs are doing. I also think Brad can do some wonders if we can give him a Dirk type of player, a consistent offensive player.

I say that player could be Kevin Love, he would make us legitimate contenders, especially with his passing.

We would have to make a good case for him to join us this playoff series  ;)

I think that decision depends purely on how far they get in the playoffs. If they make it to the finals (win or lose), Love stays...he isn't leaving a situation which guarantees you a trip to the finals.
Maybe we can make the most of this series by making it a 4-5 game Kevin Love recruiting mission.  Hopefully he leaves the series impressed with Stevens coaching and the city during playoff time.  Plant that seed so maybe this summer he considers coming on board and taking us to another level.

Thanks LarBrd33! That is exactly what I meant!, If we make the series competitive against the cavs and even steal a game or two. Love can get that impression that we are borderline contender just waiting for their star, we can offer more money too (Idk how many max contracts can the Cavs offer at this point) But I guess it depends if their postseason run ends up being dissappointing as well.

Except that he wouldn't take us to another level, because he's Kevin Love, and Kevin Love has never taken ANY team to another level.
