I'm not a capologist or anything so bear with me here. Wallace will be off our books, say we are trade Avery for a top 12 pick this year, leaving us with Smart, IT, Young, sully and KO. And rookies With the cap moving to 100 mill, and is basically having 6 players all on rookie deals and IT on a bargain deal, is there any chance in anyway of signing 4 Max players?
I need to look into it more but say we only keep those players and I actually believe sully is a free agent that year as well so another player off the books. Say Danny doesn't sign anyone this year and has everyone but those young guys on 1 year deals, would that be possible? If so I believe we'd be the only team able to do that, in doing so would attract atleast 2 stars who would then be able to play with 2 "all stars", with our young core.
