This really bothered me when I heard it and I think it is the problem in today's game.

Around the 17:30 mark.

A guy like Evan Turner comes to mind with his broken shot or the continuous free throw misses from this young team. Who (from the Celtics) is in the gym, right now, working on their game?

The one guy who I think, might be, is Isaiah Thomas.

I would argue that as a whole, the NBA consists of players who have never before taken their job so seriously or worked so hard. Have we forgotten the cocaine epidemic of the 80s, or when guys would spend summers working Average Joe jobs to make some extra cash instead of working on their games? Now it's an affront to the basketball gods if a guy comes in a few pounds out of shape.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

I don't know about current Celtics.  I was really disappointed that in a fairly recent article, Avery Bradley talked about the team working hard in the Big 3 era, like that was in the past tense.  It sounded like the veterans organized lift sessions, etc., but once they left, those stopped.

I know they are young, but yes, what he is saying translates to what we see on the court.

With a young team, is this reflection on the coach?
