*breaking* Wally coming back
But seriously I sense this is a precursor of KG becoming a coach for the wolves...

Good deal for both teams. Thad Young isn't part of the Timberwolves future, they have better young players to build around. They bring in a mentor in KG and double their ticket sales through the rest of the season. Brooklyn unloads KG and gets a decent young player.

And as Celtics fan living in Minnesota, I have a reason to go to a Wolves game.

Also reports about the T'Wolves wanting to extend KG another year.

Maybe #21 will have his final send off after 21 years in the league?

this looks scripted, imagine if Pierce was actually traded back to the Cs with KG on the opposite side of the floor in a Minny uniform

Could KG next season lead Wiggins, their pick (Okafor, Russell or Towns), Rubio, Dieng, Pekovic, LaVine, Martin, Muhammad, Payne and Bennett out of NBA's worst 12?
Remember, we have their pick (top 12 protected) via Suns (Wright deal). There is so much talent on that team. And with KG there will be no tanking. His wisdom, heart, hard work could rub on this young guys and T-Wolves could be suprise team of 2015/16. And that could give us 4th first round pick. With Nowitzki and Chandler declining and Rondo's not a fit in Dallas, we could have a 4 top 20 picks in 2016. Nets pick would be in lottery. And ours, Wolves and Mavs could all be in range 13-20. Not really related to KG, I think he may marginally help through being a reliable backup big, but for all the other guys you mentioned I think they could make a surprise leap next year. I also don't know when the year will be, but one of these years at least one of the aging Spurs, Memphis, Dallas cores is going to go down a few pegs.
