I agree with the genearal tenor of the remarks being made here.  Do think BS is also dealing with the need to showcase people.

You can throw PGs into the water and hope they swim or develop them more slowly.  Smart's not a natural PG like Rondo was so I don't have a problem with a slower approach.  Smart has improved a lot as far as shot selection is concerned and that was his biggest weakness coming into the NBA and early in the season.  Young OTOH looks very raw to me.  He'll get more time once the trade deadline passes.
