If the Clippers lose tonight (they will) their record will be 12-14 against teams with a winning percentage above .500. The announcers just said it.

On the other side of the coin, the Clips are 9-4 against the top 8 in the West, meaning they apparently stink against the East and OKC/New Orleans.  Classic Doc team not getting up for the lesser opponents.
Three of those wins were against Phoenix and the win over Houston was without Howard.

It truly is so awesome to see the Clippers crap the bed. HOWEVER, it stings we are not doing the same. It makes no sense to go from pick 4-7 to pick 9 or 10, there is just no justification.

I'm with you on that.  The Lakers in contrast are tanking smoothly.  Lots of close games (the last 2 in OT), and losing them all.   They will once again grab a top big; add Randle and then 2 top FAs and they'll be contenders within 3 years (with or without Kobe).

C's are looking at a late lottery pick-- even the possibility of a playoff run.  And Boston will not be a FA destination for any star until the C's are contenders.
