Is a bit too soon to thank anyone....

Having a lot of assets doesn`t mean anything. He must turn them into a good(at least) team first and then he can get all the credit and the thanks is the world

I made someone had posted a very good and detailed analysis of Danny's draft picks and made the case that if compared with the 3 before and after, Ainge was almost always spot on. I tried to find the post but in vain (with all these threads...). If you read, please send me the info. I d be most grateful.
greek, i believe you are referring to the posts by boris badenov. PM him and ask him to repost or send you the info.

boris did a great job of looking both at the info you cite and also ainge's picking/non-picking of international players. both posts shot down a prominent cb myth on ainge and drafting.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

For what?

Continuing to make the team worse?

Gathering draft picks on paper means nothing and guarantees you nothing.

The Celtics will be so much better without Rondo.

We saw that last night.

We played Minny.  We played Minny.  We played Minnesota!

So what?

We played good defense and moved the ball.

We are a better team without Rondo.
still clinging to that illusion?

More so, thank you, Danny Ainge, for crafting the RONDO TRIBUTE that occurred upon  his return.

Thank YOU, Celtics Faithful, for being in attendance at that game and making me proud to be a Celtics Fan. This is the same crowd reaction that will be in the minds of future draftees AND FA's that will hopefully keep BOS in mind in the future.

The obvious haters and ones who've crafted novels about Rondo and why they dislike him and why we are supposedly so much better without him will remain.

Thankfully, they are muted at such events. Hopefully, ANY FA's that are potentially looking at BOS will remember THAT crowd upon Rondo's return to BOS:

Hopefully, these same future draftees AND FA's will remember THESE tributes, as well:

Whether people like Rondo or not, he will be a future HOFer, and he will have his jersey in the rafters one day.

He is truly Celtic.
