When can the guys we picked up in the Rondo trade be traded?

Can they go before the deadline? And if so, what the the conditions of them being traded?

I like Jae Crowder, and would love to keep him; I'm more interested in trading Nelson and Wright. Can trades be made with them before the deadline?

They can be traded at any time but their salaries can't be packaged with other players in the same deal until 2 months after being acquired.

They can, however, still be traded at the same time to the same team as long as the transaction can be broken into two trades.

For instance, if you want to trade Wright and Nelson to a team for a player for a player making 7.7M, you couldn't do it because you need to aggregate their salaries to meet the match requirements.

However, say Cleveland wanted to use its $5M trade exception and Brendan Haywoods 2.2M contract for Wright and Nelson, then it would simply be structured as 2 deals.

Wright to Cleveland who uses their trade exception (they'll have to send something like a heavily protected 31-55 second round pick for paperwork purposes) and Nelson for Haywood.
