Last year despite putting up big numbers in Philly, Evan Turner had a disastrous end to his season. The experience harmed his reputation forcing Turner to sign a modest "prove it" contract with The Celtics. He couldn't show a team that he could seamlessly fit into an offense and it cost himself a lucrative deal in already cool wing market in the off season. Is Dion Waiters this year's Evan Turner?

I'd be worried if I was Dion Waiters about the fit on this team. On what team other than OKC are terms like shots attempts - player usage - assist ratio etc... discussed more frequently? Serge Ibaka doesn't shoot in the 4th. Reggie Jackson is in a contract year and is being frozen out for shooting too much. Westebrook dominates the ball and doesn't let the MVP greatest scorer in the world get enough shots. Shots. Shots Shots.

Throw into to this mix a player that has already shown an inability to fit in around the All NBA players. A player who believes the only way he can be effective is if the ball runs through his hands. A Player despite the previous fact think he should start rather than take up all of the high usage bench shots he could ask for and we may have is a potential chemistry killing power struggle on the horizon.

Dion Waiters will not touch the ball nearly enough in an already crowded back court and wing, playing for a small market that he has no attachment to. How long of Dion seeing his future earnings shrink until the moping and shoulder shrugging gifs start hitting YouTube. Better keep that body language index guy on speed dial.

Will Dion Waiters fit in OKC?
