Surprised me to learn that KG never averaged 10 boards while with the Celtics. And frankly, i'm not old enough to witness the anyone else average 10 boards..

Can someone answer? Were we good that year?

Off the the top of my head, I think Big Al did it the year he was traded. I don't think anyone did it after him.

And no, the Celtics were not good that year. Not good at all.

I do not think McHale ever got 10 RPG for a season average.

He got close in 86-87 with 9.9 RPG.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.
