To Hornets:   Jeff Green, AB , Sullinger, Turner , 1st round pick - playoff run
To Celtics:  Stephenson, Vonleh, Cody Zeller, Marvin Williams - rebuild

at the trade deadline

To Knicks: Nelson, Wright, Thornton
To Celtics: Shumpert, Bargnani (waived)

Celtics lineup after trade

C - Tyler Zeller
PG - KO
SF - Vonleh
SG - Stephenson
PG - Smart

Bench
C- Cody Zeller
PF - Bass (sign to a 2 year extension at 10 million dollars)
SF - Marvin Williams/Crowder
SG - Young
PG - Shumpert/Pressey

So many issues here.  First off Vonleh is not a SF at all, have you ever seen him play?    Second of all both trades are terrible for us.   We give up too much and get 50 cents (if that) on the dollar value back.  There's a reason why Stephenson can't be given away right now and you don't put him on a rebuilding team.  He would poison the younger players with his attitude.  There's no way Bass or any other FA would sign or resign with you since you've now made a 20 win team with no starting caliber SF.

Vonleh can play sf.  Like aaron gordon can, like jabari parker can

These are the new pf/sf players that are coming up from college

Vonleh like i stated already had to play center for the depleted Indiana team. Vonleh just the year prior to college played against and defended wiggins.

Whether he can play or not is debatable right now.

NBA:   Vonleh, the ninth overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft, has appeared in four games this season, with averages of 2.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in 8.0 minutes.

D LEAGUE:   Vonleh played 16 minutes in his Mad Ants debut, a 106-93 loss to Austin. He had 12 points, three rebounds and two blocked shots.

So he looks worse than Powell in the D League.

You are going to base your opinion on 1 game?!?!  If you really think that Vonleh and Powell are close in talent, then I am glad that you are not the C's GM.
Before a game on Christmas against the Pacers, Bird told Chuck Person that he had a present for him. During the game, Bird shot a 3-pointer in front of Person. Immediately after releasing the ball, Bird said to Person, "Merry F!#*ing Christmas!" and then the shot went in.

Stephenson is poison. He's a cancer. Don't add that to a young team and vulnerable locker room used to losing.

No, Vonleh's a 4 who at 6-10 can play the 5 because of his long arms. Parker's a 3, Gordon can defend either the 3 or 4 and perhaps big SGs, position, but cannot shoot.  Yet to see anyone but you have Vonleh slotted as a SF.
