Boston Celtics rookie James Young appeared to suffer a right shoulder injury during Wednesday's game against the Delaware 87ers.

Young clutched the shoulder after absorbing contact from Drew Gordon while trying to corral a pass near midcourt. Young was attended to by a trainer on the court before walking off the floor while still clutching the right (non-shooting) shoulder.

Before the injury, Young was having a quality night with 19 points on 6-of-8 shooting (5-of-7 beyond the 3-point arc). Young added six rebounds, three assists and two steals over 24 minutes.

after drilling 6 threes.  unfortunate injury, hope its just a strain or something. he is oozing with potential.

18... a decade away from his NBA prime, and drilling 3's like its nothing. i cannot wait.

[dang] this kid can score .

Almost every stat I have seen from him he is hitting 5 threes a game and over 60% from the field . Heal up and learn that defense young . He is going to be a stud shooter .

he is, young and tender  but  we might get lucky and he grows like the greek freak. On a more serious note, again tied to youth, are some of these young kids ready yet for the amount of games and physical attributes of competition. Also they have dominated for long time at lower levels of play and there must be a physical adjustment period to strength ,speed and athleticism of men.Now imagine running into a  wallace in prime and your just out of college, only the few like marcus or jabari parker will come out of that collision and are ready for that-Not the young.s , powell 's and olnycks .They need time to adapt to know what and when they can make moves like they did in college-they need a season in gym and time just to know  limitations and to work on weaknesses that didn't show or were overshadowed by height or athleticism in college- i believe some of these boys are being sacrificed emotionally and physically for our pleasure---opps dollars

you can watch him play a lot if you go to the dleague website. all their games are on youtube for free. watch to your hearts content...and pay attention to his defense as well. that is the reason he is there and not with the big boys. he needs to learn more on defense for sure.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

i have noticed young goes down often on his three's is he landing correctly or drawing a foul-he certainly knocks them down -a bright future and the right coach and team-
