this back to back should add some perspective .,he celts are much better than last year.after a tough road trip against talented teams they came close to beating the wizards twice -wouldn't have happened last year ---how much better time will tell but our draft choices have performed and look what ainge has for future picks including trade options- zeller is performing along with turner and thortons. Thortons value could increase quite a bit  toward playoffs for a contender that needs his explosive scoring. What did ainge really trade for these guys and both young and powell have been impressive in D league and mop ups--zeller,turner ,thorton and powell  and marcus/young-not bad danny

There have only been those who wants to make changes, trades, and complain.

The difference now is you might have one of them at the bar, your work or school or among your friends.

Now, the internet allows all of us to come together (the positive minority, the negative minority and the in the middle majority) and discuss the Celtics, their games, their players, their moves and their possible moves.

speaking of fantasies, I really liked this one (from The Classical):

Quote
What do we know of the Celtics besides the vivacity of their purposelessness, and their inculpable desire to rejoin civilization? We know Bill Simmons likes Brad Stevens very much, and we know Jeff Green aches for new scenery. And what will be the defining image of this nascent season? A Kelly Olynyk jumpshot rimming out or Rajon Rondo reclining in a snowdrift, tinkering with an abacus, smiling like he just read the user’s manual for a Human Face? Strewn about him is a completed Rubix Cube, a pair of roller skates worth thousands of dollars, and a yellowed parchment highlighting words penned in the scrawl of a madman. It reads:

1) Doc 2) KG 3) Ray 4) Paul

At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

On the one hand I agree with OP, as the team is more entertaining this year than it has been since like 2011 (the last year of the KG-Pierce era was pretty painful, I actually much prefer our lottery bound team over that semi-competitive one).  I like a lot of the young pieces and it's fun watching them develop.

But develop is the key word.  We are not a good team.  We are an entertaining bad team with some promising players.  Trade proposals and the draft are what is going to make us an entertaining good team, which is what everyone here should want. It is fun theory-crafting what it would take to make a contender that features Sully, Smart, KO and Young.  I agree that a lot of the trade proposals on here and negative attitudes are pretty grating, though.
