Is there any way for us to take advantage of them in their time of need??

Thornton and a second rounder for Amir Johnson???

Would we have Amir's Bird right's????

They aren't giving up Amir Johnson for thorton . They already Lou Williams who can fill in fine until Derozen comes back .

We need a center not another PF. Have enough of those. They have Terrance Ross tho. They'll be ok.

I think they should start Vasquez. Get another passer into that starting lineup. Keep Lou Will in his bench role. Raptors starting unit has been too iso-heavy with Lowry & DeRozan. Hopefully Vasquez can bring some extra ball movement to the table.

I think that's what will happen. DeRozan missed a game earlier this season and Vasquez got the start.

If we offer a Clippers first rounder, they might consider it.  BUT, it is dependent on how much they are willing to pay Amir next year as he is expiring this year at $7 million.  IF he is part of their future plans, then they will like have to pay him 10-12 million starting on a new contract next year.

It just depends on their thinking regarding Amir and their organization.

They are trying to win the Eastern Conference. They will not trade Amir Johnson.

DeRozan being out hurts, but it helps that he happens to play their deepest position.  They'll manage.

You are suggesting that the Raptors would trade their starting PF for a temporary replacement at SG if you toss in a second-round pick.  Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

You consistently suggest teams making stupid trades for short-term fixes due to injury when the player is easily expected to be back before the playoffs.
