Gobert has looked good against Detroit tonight.

It's hard to see him not becoming a starting caliber center further down the line. Maybe in a year's time. Should be a top defensive center in 2-3 years. Size, athleticism & a desire to play defense.

Someone worth overpaying for now (in a trade) and gambling on his future.

Looks a bright future.

What about Alex Len? Would you be willing to overpay a bit for him as well?

He's still a work in progress but if we're talking size, length and athleticism. he has it. His shooting numbers are poor (42%), but 5.7 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 20 minutes per game this season, I think there's something to work with there to mold a good to very good defensive big.

The kid also has a post up game (at least in college he showed he has).

Young buck too (I mean, he's not Rudy but only 21 years old).

I haven't seen him yet this season. I'll keep an eye out for him.

That's fair.

Id go as far as say we should gamble on him and overpay a bit for him. Size and agility like that dont come by everytime. He's a much more safer bet than landing Karl Towns or Jahlil Okafor.

Still needs to be stronger though, it looks like he's still easily getting pushed down low. But there's upside there, like Gobert.

I cant think of a package to trade to PHX to as a hypothetical deal, but I would surely be willing to give a first for Len.
