Please make sure to padlock your luggage when playing Boston because the Celtics guards are here to rob you, for every minute of 48 minutes.

But in all seriousness, i've seen enough from two preseason games to predict the havoc that's coming upon the guards of the nba. Usually i wouldnt be so drastic with my comments so early, but this isnt 1-2 defensive-minded guards here.. We're talking about at least 4 guys rotating to hound the life out of the opposing guards the entire game. It's been absolutely ridiculous pressure from what I've seen. 27 TOs from PHIL and 12 steals ... followed up by 28 TOs from NYK and 14 steals. The dribble is being pressured and the passing lanes are being hawked.

Hats off to Smart, Bradley, and Pressey thus far (heck, even thornton). When Rondo comes back, I expect no drop-off from with a former all-nba defensive teamer.
NO POSSESSION IS SAFE.

Even at the end of the game, we lined up in different formation that he hadn't seen and he called out our play before I got the ball. I heard him calling it out. -John Wall on Brad Stevens

haha, I love it, I honestly think a defensive duo of Smart and Bradley will be a force to recon with. Add in Rondo, he's no slouch either. Thorton has also been impressive thus far.

Can't wait to see our 3 guard rotation of Rondo/Smart and Bradley

Not sure how i feel about Thornton thus far, but i've loved what i've seen out of Pressey. I expected good things from Marcus and Avery, but Phil's been very reliable and consistent
