Marquis Daniels visits Celtics while looking at future in coaching

I usually feel weird about starting threads about ex-Celtics in this subforum, but since he visited Boston, I think it's okay.  Marquis Daniels has been going around looking at a post-playing career in coaching.  He came by the Celtics.  He also stopped by the Nets, Clippers, and Spurs, interviewing with the latter for an assistant coaching job with their D-League affiliate.  (He didn't get it.)

How many of you thought of Daniels as a future possible coach?

Hope marquis finds what he's looking for but wish we signed Posey. Believe he signed on as an assistant with Cleveland.

I always thought of Marquis Daniels as coach material.  He was one of those guys who came across as a hard working, well spoken, intelligent, likable guy who loved the game and maximized his own potential. 

I wish him the best.  I would be psyched if Brad hired him to be part of the Celtics staff.

I always liked his work ethic , thought he was a natural basketball player .  It looked simple for him.  He was so smooth.
