Got the idea from Quetzalcoatl... thought Jimmy Young deserved his own thread.

Rookie stats: 10.1 ppg, 2.2 apg, 4.0 rpg, 0.6 spg, 26.9 mpg, 42 percent from the field, 35 percent from 3

All-rookie 2nd team

Going to have at least a couple of big scoring games. He'll be streaky and inconsistent but will have a really solid rookie campaign.

Expect a big improvement in second season because he is so young

Sophomore season: 15.1 ppg, 2.5 apg, 4.3 rpg, 1.0 spg, 44 percent from field, 38 percent from 3

At least one all-star game in future..... great 3rd or 4th option in prime
Think Aaron Afflalo..

Discuss.

At least 75 percent of the season spent in the NBADL. Little or no playing time with the Celts.

Second year -- 4th or 5th guard in rotation, 12-15 minutes a game, 5 points per game....pretty much a non-factor.

I'm thinking Klay Thompson but because of his length I am hoping for better defense. If he stays at sg he will be able to get his shot off over almost anyone. And then on defense he will be a menace with that wingspan.

I agree, he's a project with big upside, bring him along carefully.

I just asked this on another thread, but if we assign Young to Maine does  that free up his roster spot (until we want to recall him, obviously) or is there a hold on his spot?

Maine or not, he's still on the roster.

After Bradley's injury, James backs up Thorton and out plays him.
