Green/Bass for MKG/Biyombo works if you find the right filler.  We have brought this idea up several times in the past.

Why do people like MKG?  He's a terrible shooter.  He shot 11% (yes 11%) from 3 point range for a SM!!!!  He hasn't played well yet in 2 years in the NBA.  Biyombo can't shoot either and is undersized as C....  We would definitely be getting worse in this deal.  The  only way it makes sense is if we're tanking and hey if we're going to do that let's give away Rondo why we're at it and be terrible for the next 4 or 5 years....

Come on guys.  The FACT that MKG ONLY took 9 stinking three pointers last year and ONLY 9 in his first season tells me he is a VERY DISCIPLINED played that knows and ACCEPTS that he does NOT have 3 point range!!!!!  He shot a very respectable 47.3% from the field.

And MKG is a VERY SOLID defender.  Someone mentioned that his defense was "exposed" in the playoffs!!  Seriously??  He was guarding CLEARLY the BEST player in the NBA that weighed about 30 more pounds than him and is probably twice as strong.  I thought he did a VERY RESPECTABLE job vs. King James!!!!!!

Agreed. The last thing the C's need is another bad shooter. I think Biyombo has some value for a Celtics need, but they've already got  couple of marginal centers to play this year. I'm not sure they need more before they land a high-potential, star, or near-star center.
Biyombo you don't get him to shoot. He is a rim protector and could fur out to be a larry sanders clone. He has 7'6'' wingspan and 9'3.5'' standing reach. he's a project.

Do Green +  Bass for MKG and Biyombo if Bobcats are crazy enough to do it...

Then do  http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=pxa5fjx

Rondo + Wallace (23 mil) for Williams (expiring), Terry (expiring), Outlaw (expiring),  Evans (expiring), Ben McLemore and a pick.

Clear the decks and build around PG - Smart, SG - McLemore/Bradley, SF - MKG/Young, PF - Oly/Sully C - Biyombo/Zeller

12 wins... Top 4 pick next year... infinite cap space

... Honestly that team would at least be tough defensively.
That gets me excited because we would finally be all in youth movement. But...
I don't think its imperative that we dump wallace, it would be great, but its not like our young guys will b competing next year and then he's expiring.

what if we did a 3 team trade. Bos CHA HOU

HOU gets
Rondo Bass and Hump sandt

BOS gets
Terrance Jones, MKG, Biyombo, Hou pick, CHA pick

CHA gets
Chandler Parsons

we may have to give up sully...i didn't work this out completely

Smart/pressey
Bradley/James Young
Green/MKG
Terrence Jones/KO
Biyombo/zeller
