I am an Aaron Gordon believer and I'll just leave this here:

Left out the part when he tries to take it up the floor right after that and bumbles a behind the back dribble.

He has a lot of work to do on the offensive end.

I think the part I left in was pretty good.

I like defenders and he seems to be a pretty good one so far.
Gordon has raw ability, but he's probably a couple years away from being an NBA player.  He's like 18 years old right now... in time he could be good, but I'd be surprised if he was a factor next year.

But, he should have looked for his PG, he should know his limitations, and try not to do the things he can't do. It was an amazing defensive play, Barkley like, but if you turn it over, it's a waste.

I'm rooting for the kid, I hope he gets it. I'm just really glad we took Smart right now. Much more balance in his game. He'll be able to contribute now.

Magic's pick of Gordon doesn't make too much sense were they're lacking a go to scorer, and could have gotten that with Exum, and maybe Smart.

I think we are fortunate the Lakers and Jazz don't start their summer league until the 11th... because it allows us to debate Smart vs Gordon instead of lamenting the fact we missed out on Exum and passed on Randle.

Dude seriously... NBA Summer League package is $15 to watch the games online/mobile/etc?  I paid for NBA League Pass last year, you'd think I'd get access to that too.

If anyone's already dropped the $15, let me know.  I'd be willing to split the fee and send you $7.50 to borrow your username/password.
I also bought nba league pass for the 2013/2014 season. When i login i can see the game thats live when i click on NBA TV Live.

Gordon will make an impact day one on defense.  For some people that doesn't count for as much as making an impact on offense but it does for me.   And he will board and run well.  I think he's young and he figures the rest out.  A ton of potential.

Personally I probably see him being Marion but to me, Marion is an underrated player for his career.  And maybe he could be more if his offense works out.

I thought Smart looked great, I'm not really arguing against him I like both players.  Besides a couple of his shots he took he played really efficiently, got to the line, played outstanding defense.  I'm happy with our pick.

And I am not as big of a Randle fan as you are LarBird33 but I do like Exum a lot.

I really think Smart is going to prove to be the better pick. His offense was shaky but he impacted the game in many ways. Randle doesnt know the word defense and i think will have a harder time scoring against legit nba competition since 100% of his offense is based on bullying in the paint. Guess well see in a week
