Am I the only person who thinks Kid leaving the Nets is a huge loss for them? I thought Kidd was pretty instrumental in turning that team around in January. I think the Nets had the best record in the NBA in the 2nd half of the season.

because of the small ball line-up?
but come playoffs it shows that small ball line-up with a slow team does not work, raptors almost made it, and valencuinas beat kg at the middle

they can't stop the heat attacking from the inside and no rebounders
signed a rim protector tall guy like mozgov, i think they are fine

This is a comical post in the sense that [dang] near ANYONE would be a better coach for the Nets than Kidd. Granted, I think Kidd could become a very good coach, but he knows nothing right now (and showed it this year). At least guys like Kerr have some team management background. Kidd and Fisher are risky head coaches for teams trying to win now (but not bad choices for teams that aren't in a win-now mode).

As much as I love KG and Pierce, I want Isaih Thomas to be their next coach for the picks we own  :D

Why not Lawrence Frank?  He is, after all, still under contract, right?

Actually I hope they bring in a total outsider and the team implodes.  They'd be stupid not to hire an experienced NBA coach who has proven he can handle a veteran team.

They're looking at Ettore Messina, per Stein.

Now that's interesting.

I think mark jackson is a smart hire, although it sounds like Hollins is their top target. Both are a big improvement over Jason Kidd.

not this year and even last year, he was just forced to go small ball because lopez was injured and plumlee is in foul trouble, and blatche can't defend at C spot
