This might be the best comparison for Smart, offensively. They are roughly the same size and use their strength and explosiveness to get to the rim and score with nice touch in a variety of ways:

Defensively Smart is much better, but Waiters is a better outside shooter right now. Waiters played great when Irving was injured, regularly scoring 20+ while playing PG.
