Hou. sends jeremy lynn, james harden, clint capela, and nick johnson.

Bos. sends rajon rondo, the pierce trade exception, and future 1sts.(maybe other pieces like sullinger etc.)

This works in separate trades and would clear the road for the rockets to add carmelo or lebron!

Rondo also said along the lines that there will be fireworks in Boston...the irony when Rondo is actually the firework getting shipped out

haha, jokes aside

I do not expect Rondo to be shipped out...rather I think fireworks as to getting rid of a few players like Green and package for a quality role player or borderline star

I don't think moving James Harden is part of the plan. Regardless of how much they would like to get rid of Jeremy Lin's* contract.

I would like Nick Johnson though.

This could be very possible and viable!  Can you imagine the rockets with a starting lineup of Rondo, any 2 guard, Lebron or Carmelo, god forbid Olynyk, and Howard!

James Harden would be an awesome partner for Marcus Smart in the backcourt.

With Harden disappointing in the playoffs, Houston might be more open to a Rondo for Harden trade than they would have been a few months ago. Maybe something to watch.

There will be fireworks. They come from a barge on the Charles in about a couple of weeks.

And for whoever thought we could get James Harden for Rondo and  a TPE, I want some of what you're smoking. It's not happening.

The rockets would basically be trading Harden, Lynn and 2 draft choices taking up cap room they need!  For Rondo, Olynyk, a ton of cap space, future 1sts and an opportunity to sign Lebron or Carmelo!!

rockets would look something like this;

rondo/beverly
free agent or s&t bradley/garcia
carmelo/parsons
KO or sully/jones
howard/motiejunas

celtics

smart/lynn/pressey
harden/young/johnson
green/johnson/wallace
KO or sully/bass
faverani/capela

Lol.

Would be nice but I don't see Houston giving up Harden for anything short than a trade for either Lebron or Melo.

But what's even funnier is I've read other posters on this site say "I would never give up Rondo for Harden.  Harden doesn't play defense"(lol)

The way i see it if im houston, is if i get melo to agree to sign there i am pulling the trigger on harden to boston!  So i can sign melo and they will be way better next year with melo and rondo than they would have been with harden!  Capela and Johnson flat out look like selections houston made for boston!
