Yes the potential/prospect really intrigues me, but his injury history, and the fact he has an fracture strain, which is EXTREMELY hard for any big men to stay healthy from gets me heavily wary of drafting him..

I put all my trust in Ainge, but I hope hes trying to bring in a star player. I don't know if we'll ever get the right trade value for Rondo, which is why I'm so dead set on us trying to contend. But who knows...

It's based on your perspective, quite simply
We're the same and we're not; know what I'm saying? Listen
Son, I ain't better than you, I just think different

A little afraid but would def. take him at 6. Cant pass up him being possibly the best player in this draft. Gotta take him over Gordon and others.

Of course not.  Frankly, if you were not afraid of Embiid, then you might be the only one.  Risk reward in this case and if the risk weren't there, then Embiid wouldn't be there at #6 either.

If we take him at 6 DA believes he'll heal. Though it gets scary that he'd fall out of the top 3 if GMs believe he'll heal effectively. I really think he's gone at 3

definitely a risk, but without the risk we would not even be able to imagine him available at 6.

I want embiid to be drafted before us because i think he is a bust but I think Ainge is crazy enough to draft him.

Embiid is certainly a high risk high reward pick. I for one hope he falls to the C's and they pick him.  I think it's going to take more than one season to bounce back into contention, I think taking Embiid will improve their pick in next years draft, and I have faith Embiid will rebound enough from his injuries to help the C's in the not too distant future. He might not work out long term, but I think Ainge is smart enough to hold onto Embiid until his value peaks and then trade him off for something of value if the C's medical staff doesn't think he'll hold up long term.

I disagree.  I think the GMs with the top 3 picks have more to risk if they pick Embiid.  They'd be passing on consensus 'sure things' if they take Embiid.  In other words, just because the top 3 don't take him doesn't mean they are convinced Embiid won't heal.
