Embiid was injured enough to slide past us but not LAL?

Zero probability and credability.

No, I can see that happening, in addition to watching Embiid become the best big man in the game and the cornerstone of another Lakers dynasty.  Ugh.

Danny is a risk taker, he'll take Embiid if he falls.

Not only will he take Embiid, but he'll grab Saric if he falls to 17 as well.

He goes for the grand slam all day.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I'd be surprised if Gordon goes top 8.  Just not enough offense to go that high unless you have enouch weapons and want a defensive foundation. I said in another thread that the 76ers should take him with their 10th pick because Gordon+Noel would be a great defensive foundation.
They'd potentially have something like:

MCW
SG
Wiggins
Gordon
Noel

just need a sharpshooting SG and they're looking good in 2-3 years.
Only problem again is Gordon's size and how he'd guard large power forwards in the paint/post.

Napier is a fantastic point guard. If we do dump Rondo, I want him or Elfrid Payton.
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.
