Smart doesn't want to go to Utah.  Not that shocking when he can go to BOS or LA instead.

Seems to have been shaping up this way for the last week. Top 3, Exum, and Vonleh go 1-5 in some order.

I hope Gordon is picked 4-5.

Watch the Jazz take smart at 5
It happens all the time, even when players refuse to work out for a team.

Personally, if we take Smart, I feel that Rondo will be dealt.  Why take a PG at #6 to be a backup?

I've been thinking they will for quite a while now.  I think he makes a much better PG prospect than Burke.

I disagree.  If we take Smart, there's 3 possible outcomes:
1. we keep him and use him as the first guard off the bench behind Rondo and AB giving us a solid backup for either Rondo or AB.
2. we pick him for someone else in the draft and trade his rights.  (I think this is the most likely scenario if we pick him).  I could see Sac as a trading partner as an excellent upgrade over Thomas to pair with Cousins.  We'd pick up an extra asset for our efforts (like #8 and other pieces)
3. Rondo is traded which seems pointless since we would have to hope Smart becomes as good as Rondo someday.  Might as well keep the real deal since other big name players have expressed admiration for his game and would like to play with him.  (I think is the least likely scenario if we draft Smart)
