Anthony exercised his player option for 2014-15 and will return to Boston as a defensive big at the end of the bench.

This is important bc it means he can be included in draft day trades as an expiring.

Weird. Not listed on any other site that tracks NBA transactions. And articles from this current week concerning Love trade scenarios still say that he is "expected" to exercise the option.

If he has exercised the option, I think he's a goner on Draft Night.

Hopefully he does.

It's no coincidence that both Olynyk and Sully noticibly improved defensively after Anthony arrived.

I think it had more to do with them getting more playing time than the arrival of Anthony.

I was hoping he would decline because if he's on the team next year I have no interest in paying him $4 MM
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

He'll make great trade ballast.

I'm guessing a three team deal on Draft Night sends Anthony and two 2nd round picks to a team with cap space (Philadelphia?), Bogans to Houston, Asik to Boston.

We have the trade exception that we have to use by a certain date also.
