My whole idea is based on cavs taking wiggins first. With deng leaving as free agent and having varajoa tristan barrett i think they stay away from embiid and go wiggins or parker. Bucks then with henson an saunders go for parker and leave embiid to philly. The two spots philly dosnt need is at PG and C. So a choice between embiid and exum aint ideal and they could be open to a trade. I think they will pick Embiid but could be open to trading massachusettes own Nerlens Noel. Wud they give up noel a 6th pick from last years draft for the 6th pick of this years? If the pot needs to be sweetened then they throw in J rich bad contract. Celtics get an athletic young shotblocker to be our future center. Thoughts?

I don't see the 76ers trading out with those options.  Instead, I see them either playing two big  men or Exum at SG.

u think they wud prefer a exum and noel over smart and embiid (and shedding J rich contract)? hey its just an idea but if need be we could always add a future pick too to get it over da line

I think Philly will prefer to keep Noel to put with either Exum or Embiid. (if those are the choices)

agreed.  either as a Sampson/Olajuwon or Robinson/Duncan type of combination or to stack the odds that at least one of them pans out as a starting-caliber center

What you have to remember about the Sixers is that they are in the start of their rebuild, so they're still in the asset collection phase.  If Embiid is the best possible asset at 3, they will take him and likely hold on to both him and Noel.  No reason to sell early (and low) on Noel before even seeing what he can produce.  Not like fit really matters at this point; the team is bad.

yes they are at da start and asset collecting - hence getting a need position and gettin rid of a big contract makes sense. Noel is a center. timmy duncan, hakeem sampson, mchale parish days are gone. itsall about stretch 4s this days. if they want to gobig they could go randle but they also have thad young whose a nice player. if ye disagree fine, if ye think noel aint what we need fine - but i dont think an offer of da 6th pick (noel went 6th last year granted injured) takin on a bad contract and a future pick is anyway a bad offer. and could suit both teams. thanks for the responses tho. go celts

Yet the Pacers and Spurs play big.  Along with Memphis and Clippers.

There is not one way to play.  If you can get two dominant big men together and it works, do it.

All latest indications have Cavs picking Embiid, so I think it is pointless to speculate on this hypothetical. I mean, might as well just speculate that Embiid slides to 6, in which case I say, grab him!!
