I would never want Queen LeBron on the team.   There are some guys you draw the line on.
We've had Shaquille O'neal and Rasheed Wallace on our team over the last few years. If I can put up with those two I can put up with just about anything. I "sports" hate LBJ and even that wouldn't keep me from being happy with him as a Celtic.

But it won't happen. I doubt he likes Boston all that much. I don't think he a Rondo hate each other but I don't think they're ever going to be friends. And why depart the Heat? They have a good team with on of the greatest basketball minds ever running the show.

And Miami is much nicer weather and things to look at.
Peace through Tyranny

ZERO interest in LeBron. I don't want to win with him, I want to beat him.

As crazy as it is, I agree. Maybe it's all those playoff battles against him but I just want to beat him. Wipe the smug look off his face.

lol @ the "No, Danny/Wyc wouldn't want LeBron/He's not a true Celtic" stuff.

Things that's like saying:

"Would I date Kate Upton? No way. Girls who are that gorgeous and down to Earth just don't seem to settle down well."

"Would I want to win the lottery? No way. When people get that rich they lose touch with their roots, and forget what's really important."

"If I could have anyone's powers would it be Superman's? No way. His life is just so boring. I'd much rather be Aquaman. He really gets what its like to be part of a team."

We aren't saying that Wyc or Danny wouldn't want Lebron.  We are saying that we wouldn't want him.

That would be awesome, but no.

JMO, but I believe Lebron would not want to have his legacy associated with "Other" Greats....his legacy is not to fit in, but stand out....for what it's worth.

BOS just has TOO many greats for Lebron to come here and be a "just" a part of.

Same reason I wouldn't see him in Lakers uniform.

Did anyone say that Danny or Wyc would never want Lebron? Didn't think I read that anywhere

Agree.....take it a little farther yet......Lakers have an Alpha male there  that is not good at sharing....Kobe didn't get along with Shaq, or Howard, he abuses Gasol .....Kobe being Kobe and being in LA is reason enough for another star NOT  want to go there .

LA is coach less ,   No Jackson, no old Doc Buss , a tire grumpy Kobe , an Old Pau they can't afford to get rid of.....Clippers share the building and now limelight ....and the intense pressure that never subsides .

There are several teams more appealing than the current Lakers.....IMO

I'm not a LBJ fan at all. I'd hear arguments that he's overrated and agree with probably many of them. But it's not on him that the Cav's didn't win one. He took that team of scrubs past the Pistons all by himself. But one man can't do it all on his own. Bird, Magic and MJ couldn't do it. So why do we think that Lebron could?
