I think we use it to trade for Love. If that doesn't happen, we pick either Smart or Gordon.

Would prefer to get Love, as that would entice other guys into maybe coming to Boston.

If they can't use the 6th for Love and that falls threw, I think they make the same deal to NY for Melo.

If those don't work out I could see them moving Rondo and the 6th to some one like Orlando or Phoenix for their pics. Build up more assets, and try again next year.

Just drafting Smart or Gordon is not a bad scenario. Most people have this as a 3 player draft, but in reality I see a lot of parity between picks 2-7 (after Embiid). Both Smart and Gordon are very safe picks, as their floor is a defensive specialist who doesn't space the floor but brings offensive value elsewhere (finishing and handling/passing for Gordon; slashing and causing mismatches against other PG's for Smart). They also both have considerable upside to improve their shot, which is one of the most readily improvable skills.
