  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
All these picks come in very handily.
We need a starting Center if we get Love- heck we need one any way- but what would Minny need to give up Dieng as well?

Just Love would require at least:

6th pick, 17th pick, future Brooklyn pick, Jarred Sullinger, fillers.

Does adding the Clippers pick and another Brooklyn pick get us Dieng too?
Or addung Olynyk and another Brooklyn pick?

I wouldn't mind trying to acquire Gorgui Dieng in a non-Love package.

Sully for Dieng?

Overpay for Dieng.

Huge fan of him, but to think hes worth a pick is crazy talk! ;)

I would rather get Asik, or Sanders.

I actually think it's underpaying if you can get him in the deal with Love for just one pick.
the Clippers pick and Olynyk is probably the minimum they talk about or they just say he's off the table- they value him very highly!

I like Dieng too but if we are getting Love I wouldn't worry about also adding to the package for Dieng.

Too much.  People forget Dieng is like 25+ already and he only put up decent numbers once he was thrown into the rotation late in the season in Minnesota when they were well out of the playoff mix and most opponents were hardly engaged anymore.  Not giving up any significant pieces for Gorgui Dieng.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

How about Celtics '14 pick, Clippers pick, 2016 Nets pick, the 76ers conditional first round pick which may be two second rounders, Bass, Bogans, and Sullinger/cap filler for Dieng, Love, and Muhammad?

I would love Dieng as a 14-16 minute type of guy as a Center. Hes a great back up, and could start, but I don't think he should be playing more than 30 minutes. I would love a duo of Asik/Dieng.
