If Embiid falls to 4, it's because of his back. Then he probably falls to 6 because it's unlikely ORL and UTA would take Embiid in that scenario. They have other needs and other options. Aings OTOH would be the most likely guy to do that based on his current reputation and his relative job security (unless Celticblog posters can get him fired first).

Wiggins, Parker, and Exum would already be gone based on what I've read IF Embiid's sliding.  In that case we'd be trading up for a slider needing surgery who will be out for part of his rookie season and who's coming our way anyway OR for a guy slotted to go 5-8 now.

Not going to happen.

I wouldn't trade Rondo for Vucevic and the 17th pick (if Orlando had it).

Rondo's value is at an all time low, imo.  He's not a top tier superstar.  He has an year left on his deal, and the magic would need certainty that he would resign before ever doing a deal like this.  Why give up a low cost center AND the #4 pick for Rondo?  They could pick up Exum or Smart and continue their rebuild.

He was at an all time low when he was hurt before the beginning of last year.  He built up his value somewhat with his play last year (even though he was inconsistent) .  He is still a top flight PG IMO.

Having said all that the Magic have a plan and are sticking to it and it doesn't include an All Star player with 1 year left on his contract.  Plus there's no way they're trading  Vucevic at this point.
