Ok guys so we got 6 and stupid Cleveland won again... but hey no matter what were still in a good position. Here's some points to help everyone breathe better.

1. We had the best chance of picking 6th. We didn't do as badly as 07, or we'd be picking 8th and throwing chairs.

2. Whose to say a player picked at 6th wont be better than a top 3? Gordon or Smart may turn out better down the line than passive Wiggins and bad back Embiid.

3. Fakers did worse than us!!!

4. DA set us up nicely for the future. Thanks to the Fakers doing worse, we probably have the best package for Love at this point (assuming the top 3 teams want to hold the pick). Sully, #6, future firsts and filler is a good package for Love and very similar to 07 kg trade.

5. I'll say it again. Fakers did worse than us!!!!

6. To the anti tankers... I'll take 6 for the above reasons any day of the week over pick 15 and a first round sweep.

Chin up guys, were only going up from here!!!

There are some good players in the 6th spot anyway.

7. We can pick Aaron Gordon and Triboy will finally stop shoving all these Gordon facts down our throats!  ;D
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

I'm not mad at all about the Celtics picking 6th. That's where we all kind of knew they would be. Cleveland and the NBA's fixation with them is my problem. Three times in four years just goes so far beyond suspicious, there really is no other way to spin it. How can anyone think this thing is legit? And for such a suckbag organization too. Life truly is not fair.

1. The sixth pick was always the most likely outcome.  We didn't fall to 7 or 8.  The Lakers are picking behind us!  It's not that bad.

2. There are good players that will be available at that slot.  Maybe not superstars, but guys who will help improve the team in the years to come.

3. Rebuilds take time.  Maybe there's a trade for Kevin Love on the horizon to turn things around for the team after just one season of being bad, but chances are there isn't.  That's OKAY.  Enjoy the journey, everybody.  It'll make reaching the destination that much more satisfying.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I think that the 6th pick means that it's more likely to be traded for immediate help which makes it more likely that Rondo is in the long term plans.

If we got 1-3, I think it would have been more likely that Ainge would've gone into full rebuild mode and traded Rondo.

That's a silver lining if you want to keep Rondo.
