If the Thunder dont win it this year, and come up short, i think they finally look to make a blockbuster move. Durant is by far the best player on the team, but westbrook is reeeeally good, and i think just the kind of offensive player ainge will look to acquire.

2 trades, which I feel are realistic, which could make us instant contenders:

Jeff Green, Jared Sullinger, 2014 #5 Pick for Kevin Love

Rajon Rondo and 2014 #17 Pick for Russell Westbrook

Going forward,

Westbrook (pressey)
Bradley (bayless)
Wallace (FA MLE)
Love (bass)
Olynyk (Humpries)

Thoughts?

For the record, you put your eggs (assets) into Superstars like Love and Westbrook. They compliment each other perfectly, UCLA boys, and the pick and roll with them would be UNGUARDABLE.

That is all.

it's a lateral move or perhaps make us worse
if it's Green, Sully, Rondo=Love and Westbrook it's a better trade

Swap out green for expirings and a future first.
Add asik with TE and I think you have a deal. (Though neither love or Westbrook are personal davorites)
Westbrook
Bradley
Green
Love
Asik

With oly, bayless, wallace, mle and pierce TE rounding out bench.

Like others said I see a lateral move here. I'm not crazy about Love in the first place but honestly hope we trade for him as we could rebuild and contend faster with him here...

Westbrook however, I want no part of...I just can't see myself enjoying Celtics basketball with him as our leader. He is too inconsistent in the mental department.

You realize Ibaka is out for the playoffs, right?  Why exactly would you expect the Thunder to make such a panic move like trading Westbrook because their title hopes have taken a serious blow due to an unrelated injury?  That just doesn't make any sense.
