I know most people are obsessed woth Kevin Love but I believe a trade fir Dieng would suit us alot more as it would give us our rim protector while not having to give up half our team for a player who could leave in a year... Dieng has some real potential and  he's got a huge upside as he's still really young... I believe a Kelly Olynyk for Dieng swap seems fair but we could also throw in Babb or some one else but that would be an excellent trade for the Celtics as Dieng could easily turn into one of the leagues best centers in a couple of years...

Why would Minnesota give up a player with "real potential" and "huge upside" for Olynyk and Babb?

Fine then throw in CJ or a second rounder... Seems like a fair trade as both teams would be filling in some needs...

Err No. We picked K.O. ahead of Dieng in last year's draft. I don't think Ainge sees Dieng ahead of KO even after 1 year.
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

After this year he should... As big of a fan of Ko as I am, we have bigger needs (rim protector) and this trade would fill in that need while also clearing up some minutes at PF if we decide to bring back Hump.

Can someone explain to me why people are so in love with GD after he played 14 minutes a game and averaged 5 points and 5 rebounds?

Am I missing something?

I would love to bring in Dieng. While he does have some liabilities, especially on the offensive end, he was putting up some monster numbers at the end of the year. Like Kelly, he definitely showed  steady improvement.

Minny currently has Pekovic as their starting center and I don't necessarily see that changing soon. Neither Dieng nor Pek really have any ability to switch to pf should Love get traded (in another deal). Frankly, Minny should probably think about selling high on an exciting prospect. I don't particularly want to give up KO, as I think those two could grow to be a pretty frightening pair, but the trade actually seems fair and simple. Could something be worked out around AB/Bass instead, perhaps?

His March and April numbers look [dang] good to me.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I wouldn't trade KO for Dieng, but I'd think about giving up Sully for him.

We'd have the front line of the future from the "weak" 2013 draft.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

I have high hopes of Sully next to a legit 7 foot rim protector as Sully's camp have hinted about him getting in shape for him to play PF just like his days at OSU (preinjury) when he was widely considered a lottery pick.. (Some mocks even had him top-5)

This.

I wanted Dieng in last year's draft and even I would have difficulty in seeing how Danny would consider this deal

They both had a similar impact this season - starting off slow and ending on ridiculous notes. KO probably outplayed Dieng, but he was given more of an opportunity early on.

I would like to hold on to KO over Dieng, but just because a gm liked one player over another a year ago doesn't mean that he still feels the same way now. The draft certainly isn't a perfect science.

I think it would be great to acquire Dieng, but not necessarily at the expense of KO or Sully. Minny already has a solid front court anyway.

I agree with you guys about not wanting to give up KO or Sully but we need to clear front court minutes anyway and Minny could always use a backup for Love as a spark of the bench or as a starter if Love gets traded or leaves in FA..

I would prefer a sign-and-trade involving Bradley but I dont see Bradley accepting to go to the wolves and I doubt the wolves would be able to guve him his desired asking price...

How about CJ and Phillys first rounder (most likely a couple of 2nds) for Dieng and Mbah or some other reserve from the TWolves (Maybe Shabazz or Dante Cunningham)
