Rajon Rondo has not asked Boston Celtics management to be part of the decision-making process, but he hopes to be aware about the direction of the team.

“I want to be aware of what’s going on, especially if I’m part of the future here,” Rondo said. “And being the point guard, I would like to know what the team has in store or wants to do or the moves they want to make. I think I’ll be around in Boston this summer and I’ll look forward to what’s going to happen. I’m very excited.”

Rondo views the upcoming summer as critical to his complete return from a torn ACL. He has averaged 11.8 points, 9.7 assists and 5.3 rebounds in 29 games this season.

“Next year will be fun, it will be a fresh start,” Rondo said. “I’ll be able to go through training camp and my conditioning will be better than ever and I’ll have a full summer to train at full speed, at full strength. [Last] summer I wasn’t able to train. This summer will be a fun summer, probably the best summer of my career. I’m looking forward to it, something to take out of it. Not making the playoffs, I’ll have a lot more time to train and get better.”

No body is winning squat in the NBA without talent....average players coached to the max level don't cut it in the NBA .....that's college stuff

Talent ain't walking on to the Celtics ...like Lakers

So .....if people are unwilling to sit a few players to lose 4 games to rebuild under the NBA rules?then I'm just stunned ....mortified and depressed at the lack of direction and leadership .

Without Rondo......what Star talent will be lured to Boston..... That's right NONE

So we complain about Rondo,  but he might get a star to come on board.....if we could draft a Parker or Such

But instead Stevens will run off Rondo ,  and have us playing our selfs OUt of a high Lottery pick to prove he ....can coach and never asks for help

News for Stevens ...he ain't doing squat without Star talent

Cs went about this season the wrong way. It could not have been handled any worse than it was in terms of player personnel moves.

Rondo should have never played a game this season.  Why do we have Pressy being a rebel rouser with a spark of energy. The last thing a tanking team needs is an energetic player that is playing for something.

You tank with veterans not with rookies trying to find a place in the nba
